Embroidery and Bead Weaving

My embroidery practice started in 2010 as a means to explore different materials and produce smaller scale works. The quiet, methodical activity of sewing is a form of meditation. These works are produced with beads and thread, many of the fabrics are hand dyed. All of the patterns are my original designs and are related to my drawing practice.
